Support service for clinical trials - Brno
Since 2009, the Affidea Brno clinic has offered a support service for clinical studies consisting of their evaluation on our 1.5T MR scanner.
Type of clinical trials
At the Affidea Brno clinic, several studies in the fields of neurology and orthopedics have been and are successfully supported.
Clinical trial staffing
The members of the Affidea Brno team were trained in the field of good clinical practice (GCP), processing and entering data into electronic databases, etc. Language skills and the ability to communicate with employees of cooperating organizations abroad as well as participation in teleconferences and telephone trainings are a matter of course.
Technical equipment and infrastructure
The Affidea Brno clinic has specially designated and equipped rooms for magnetic resonance imaging and clinical studies and uses the top technical infrastructure of its own medical facility (connected computer network, possibility to send image material via the PACS system, reception, storage and sending of faxes in digital form, digital telephone switchboard with call logs). Easy cooperation and availability for various courier companies is made possible by the opening hours of the reception (7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.).
Contracts administration and contact
Affidea Brno reviews the standard templates of sponsor contracts on cooperation between the sponsor and the medical facility without delay. Correspondence and reviews of contracts, cooperation and questions regarding the phases of the feasibility of clinical evaluations are handled by MUDr. Petr Latner, MBA (latner@affidea-brno.cz, phone: 602 535 343).
