Due to the need for available norms and their comparison with the measured results, it is not possible to evaluate other than standard locations such as the lumbar spine and hips (proximal femur, forearm, or whole-body BMD (bone mineral density)). It is not possible to evaluate areas with implanted metal material, and it is problematic to evaluate the lumbar spine in cases of significant scoliosis.

Electronic Transmission of Examination Descriptions:

If the referring doctor has access to electronic communication (most commonly when importing laboratory results), it is possible, based on a marked request of the referral and system configuration by IT staff, to send examination descriptions in this form directly to the requesting doctor's outpatient information system.
